StoryTree
StoryTree is a quarterly online creative magazine that aims to platform art of all kinds. Bringing together poets, authors, journalists, painters, photographers, sculptors, and more.
We were founded on the phrase “Every word was once a story.” A quote paraphrased from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay on poetic theory, The Poet. We platform work that seeks to unearth the hidden stories all around us. The poem caught in the teeth of a comb. The painting falling through the autumn leaves. The prose wrapped in the freshly changed bedsheets.
StoryTree was founded by poet and artist Georgia Francis.
StoryTree publishes issues in February, May, August, and November. Read our previous issues here!
We publish issues from our series StoryTree In Conversation sporadically, follow our Instagram for updates on submission windows for StoryTree In Conversation.

StoryTree In Conversation
StoryTree is launching a brand new project: StoryTree In Conversation.
Our new series offers creatives a chance to publish their writing/artwork, create new work, and engage with other artists. Contributors will submit writing or artwork for the Prompt Pieces. They will then receive an anonymous Prompt Piece and will create a New Work inspired by it. All of the Prompt Pieces and the New Works will be published together in a zine with brief paragraphs from the contributors sharing how the pieces inspired them.
Learn more and participate on the StoryTree In Conversation page.
