Georgia Francis is an award-winning spoken word poet, artist, and writer from Scotland.
Francis' work explores themes of chronic illness, disability, ableism, love, and sexuality. Her work has been included in multiple anthologies and publications as well as her debut poetry collection, Fainting Girl. Francis is the Founder and Editor in Chief of creative magazine StoryTree.
Fainting Girl
Francis’ debut poetry collection, Fainting Girl, depicts her experiences with adolescence, chronic illness, disability, love, and sexuality. Fainting Girl released March 2025, published by Quiet Island. Fainting Girl won the Silver Award for Poetry in The 2025 Reader Views Literary Awards.
